Fill this form out first so we know a little bit about you. Some of this information will be used in billing and the rest will show up on all of your future plan sets. You will only have to do this once, and you will then be in our data base. Please make sure to click on SUBMIT at the end of the form.
After you have submitted the Client Information Form, fill out this form next. This is all of the nitty gritty information that we need to create the most comprehensive plan set that we can. Fill this out as completely as possible so that we can do our best to get your plan set to you quickly. This is an all encompassing form that applies to many different types of projects. If parts of the form do not apply to your project, that's okay! Just skip over that part, and continue on. We may have questions, and we will contact you if we do. You may also have questions while filling this out, so don't be afraid to email or call. We'll do our best to walk you through everything.
We will always check for errors, but some of the information in this form will be directly inserted into your plan sets, so please check your work before hitting submit. Unfortunately, we cannot accept hand written Project Information Forms. Some handwriting can be a little hard to read, and we want to be as accurate and as quick as possible to give you the best product that we can. Please make sure to click on SUBMIT at the very end of the form.
We truly strive to create the best plan sets available and the more information you can give us the better. The following pictures and sketches really help us out, and in turn help you. Pictures and sketches can be inserted directly into the Project Information Form while you are filling it out or emailed to us separately.
For roof-top solar, we need pictures of the roof along with a dimensioned sketch showing any obstructions, as well as locations and pictures of the existing electrical equipment. We will also need pictures inside the attic if at all possible to verify the structure for our engineering evaluation if needed.
For battery backup, we just need pictures of the existing electrical equipment so that we know how to tie everything in, and we need to know where you would like the batteries.
For ground-mount solar and generators, we need pictures of the existing electrical equipment and of the area that you would like the generator or and/or ground-mount structure to be placed. We need to know where all of the public utilities are too. If it's on a larger lot that is not served by public utilities, we will also need something that shows us where the well and water lines, the septic tank and leach field, and the propane tank and lines are. This information is usually available from the local building department. We can request this information from the building department too, but they have (10) business days to respond, so we suggest that you get a jump on it and have it ready before you complete your site visit so that you also know where everything is. We know it's a lot. It's a lot for us too. This is the reason we charge more for ground-mounts and generators.
If we have any questions, we will contact you. If not, we will get going and produce your plans as quickly as possible. We encourage open communication, so please don't hesitate to call or email with any questions at all.
When your plans are ready to review, we will email a link to you where you can access your PDF file for download. If these look good, just reply to that email and let us know, or let us know if you require any changes. If you do not need any changes or engineering, then this is your final plan set that is ready to submit for permit. If you requested a Bill of Materials or engineering evaluation, then we will take care of that next and get those to you as quickly as we can, but we need your approval on the plan set first.
You or your accounting department will receive an email with a link to your invoice. Just drop a check in the mail before the due date listed on the invoice or pay by credit card online through our secured accounting software, and you're good to go! Again, if you have any questions about the billing, please do not hesitate to email or call us. We want to hear from you!
Renewable energy is a passion. With a background in mechanical, architectural, structural, civil, and electrical design since 1996, we have the unique skill set required to produce comprehensive roof-mount and ground-mount solar, battery backup, and generator plan sets that are required for permitting.
We are an accredited SunPower Solar Designer, and also hold training certificates from other well-known solar equipment companies like Enphase, Generac, IronRidge, SMA, SolarEdge, and Sonnen. We are well versed in current NEC codes as well as state codes across the country. We have provided thousands of plan sets to building authorities for permits for both residential and commercial projects.
Our plans are clean and thorough. Having worked in multiple disciplines, our plans are not just for permitting purposes. They are easy to read and they are just as much for the contractor and field crew that is performing the work, if not more so than the Authority Having Jurisdiction. We also offer full Bill of Material services if needed to save you time and help you with your purchasing.
We strive to be in constant communication with our customers until the job is done. Please give us a call or email with any questions to see how we can help.
We look forward to serving you!
